  1. Hello everyone,

It´s Rogério and I want to correct sentence number 2, as follows:

2)She has to have surgery or she has to be operated on.

By the way, I would like to suggest a new series on FOX, every Tuesday night at 9:30, called Lie to me. It's a group of experts on psychological behavior and body language, who help police departments (FBI,CIA and etc) to clarify the criminal cases.

It's a great series, with several real examples in society, politics and different areas, trying to find out the truth.

I hope to see your participation.

    Rogério

  3. Hi, Guys!
My chosen sentence is: Many time I saw that film.
I would say: I watched that film many times.
Btw, since I've not been watching any film lately, and even my reading is frozen (just gave-up Ulisses by James Joyce), I recommend you see my one-year-old son's blog: http://arturtemblog.blogspot.com

  4. Hello everyone,

I chose the sentence 3: He thinks he goes to the shopping.
A better way to say it is: He thinks he is going shopping.
By the way, I am watching a sequence of programs on the National Geographic channel about the Second World War. It is on Wednesdays at 9:00 pm.

    See you later,

    André

  5. Hi, fellows.

I chose the sentence #1 and I think that the correct way to write is "My suggestion is to freeze personnel hiring".

Changing the topic, I would like to recommend Eric Clapton´s biography. Since I´m a blues / rock fan, I can say I liked it a lot, but I think it´s a nice reading even for people who don´t like rock or blues because he describes a different life experience.

    Kind regards.

    Mario.

  6. Hi Rogério,

I have another way to say it but I don´t know if we can consider it as the best one : She is undergoing surgery.

I´ve chosen number 5 to correct and here it is :
    - I haven't received good news.

    See you,

  7. Hello,

This is Adriana HR manager from Brabus, car dealer.

    I chose sentence 6:
Did you remember that a meeting budget went 6 months ago?
I think that the correct form is:
Do you remember that budget meeting which was 6 months ago?

Have you heard about Kindle (Amozon e-reader) in Brazil? It arrided last month at a reasonable price.
    What do you think?

    See you!

    Adriana.

  8. Hi, Adriana and virtual friends,

I won't comment on the sentences because they were all done, but I liked your question about the Kindle. I think the idea is amazing. But I can't imagine the Brazilian guys using the eletronic device on the bus. (As I saw it in the promotional ad in class). And I'm an 'old person'. (lol). I'm just 27, but I prefer paper books because I like to touch the pages, turn them. I like to see the books organized in my bookshelf.

And you guys? What do you think? Do you think I'm crazy?

    Marilia
    Journalism student at FIAM.

  9. Hello guys,

I strongly agree with Marila, in fact it will be funny to see a ordinary man reading sports news in the bus, going to the eastern area.

Now seriously speaking,I dont have any restriction about kindle, since the publishers' rights are garanteed.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

    See you around.

  10. Hi guys,

I´m an old-fashioned woman, and I´m really fun of hard cover books! Like Marilia, I love to touch the paper and to keep them in my bookshelf. But, I have to consider that it is appealing with all the resources.

    See you,

    Lígia
