  1. Hello! I'm Ticiana, I work in a Call Center company , I'm an HR manager.
What Matt said is very good to go to work by bike. He was better physically.

This year I decided to go through the Daniel Fast diet for twenty one days. I don't eat any animal, any sweet, bread, pasta and coffee (this is more difficult). It's good for my mind and spirit. Do you like my challenges?

  2. Hello people. My name is Cristiano and I work for Contax. I'm a Human Resources coordinator.

I want to change some habits in my life and I proposed to myself for the next 21 days that I'm going to to gym 3 times a week, to stop drinking beer until Carnival, and not to miss my English classes, and to read a book until the end. Do you think they are a big challenge?

In my opinion about Matt's video, I like the idea to go to work by bicycle and go to the mountains, and to stop the consumption of sugar is very good for health. I don't like to take a picture everyday because I don't have patience.

    Do you agree with me?

    See you around.

  3. Hello, people! My name is Tatiana, I am a journalist at Bllomberg News. For next 30 days, my goal is to practice exercises as I have been a homebody lately... I will also try to cut cafeine and read more articles in English. And that's fine for now, this would be a big challenge, dont you think?

  4. Hi everybody,my name is Fabiana,I'm a journalist and my goal this year is to sleep better and relax more. So, I decided to take up medidation classes. I hope it will help me to concentrate more on the things I'm doing and to make me less anxious.

I don' t think radical changes work. What about you? Do you share the same views?

  5. Hello folks. My name is Cassio, I work with indirect tax at Vertex Inc.

I agree with Cristiano as I have to try not to miss my English classes (Tues and Thurs) and try to stop drinking beer during the week, just saving for the weekend (:D). I'll try to exercise 5 days a week, because at the moment my sofa calls me more loudly (:D).

The idea brought by Matt to change habits is very good because our lives can go faster and you can save time to do other things for your mind and body (like Fabiana is doing). The idea of small sustainable changes is better in order to accomplish them more easily.

    Do you agree with me?

    Bye for now.

    1. Hi Cassio. This is Cristiano.

I agree with you about the difficulty to stop drinking beer. I think it is important to cut down the number of drinks on the week, because it is important for health.
And more difficult is to turn down an invitation from friends.

      Is it your case?

Anyway, good luck to you. Bye, Cris

  6. Hello everyone. My name is Vitor and I work as a portfolio manager at Itau-Unibanco.

This year I'm trying to do more gym, swim and run, about 3 times a week (like Cristiano and Tatiana), since last year I had a serious back problem.

I believe it's very important to make changes in 30 days as Matt brings up, but more important it is to keep those changes after that time. Even big challenges like climbing up a mountain are nice, but you should have a healthy life and good physical condition in order to achieve it successfully. And this requires a lot of determination (like Ticiana's Daniel Fast. This is really pushy).

Do you agree with my ideas?

    See you.

  7. Hi everybody. I'm Patricia, I'm a business analysis supervisor at an IT department of a hospital.

I agree with Matt Cuts when you have to change your life to establish some challenges. For example, to take pictures or go upstairs and downstairs instead of taking an elevator - which I regularly do in my building or at the hospital.

I congratulate everyone on your change of habits for 30 days. Ticiana, your challenge is really difficult, because like you, I'm trying to reduce my level of daily coffee consumption. So, during my next 30 days, I'll try to study more English - grammar points and read more articles (like Tatiana).

I'd like to give Cassio and Cristiano a litlle suggestion to cut down the consumption of beer: have you thought about substituting more water or natural juice for beer? (:D)

During the next 30 days, together we can check if we are healthier and better in English. So, it's a new challenge for us. What do you think about?

    See you soon.

  8. Hello everyone, I'm Regina, a psychologist.

I think this ideia from Matt is very nice and interesting, and the most important thing he said, is doing the new activities step by step, so that we can sustain the challenges.

I'd like also to learn more English this year and in 30 days I will begin to learn Spanish.

As everyone said before, cutting down the consumption of beer and coffee as well as doing more exercises are healthy. I wish you all success in your goals! Be strong!

Maybe we can exchange the achievements of our challenges after 30 days here on the blog!

    See you soon.

  9. Hello everyone. My name is Tatiana and I'm nurse and, at the moment, I'm the scientific study coordinator for
    Gastroenterology.

I liked the video and I agree with the idea of everyone having a target to achieve. For the next 30 days, I intend to read a book about life reflection and continue to study English everyday - 1 hour per day.

I would like to be calmer and less worried (like Fabiana). I think meditation is a very good technique, but not for me, because I can't stay a lot of time standing still. On the other hand, I'm trying to listen to more music and read a book about life reflection.

This year, I intend to travel to other countries (Portugal and France) with my family and to travel to Foz do Iguaçu with my boyfriend. Moreover, I want to participate in a scientific congress in Sweeden and for this I'm saving money. There's a little problem: if I go with my parents to Europe, I'll not be able to go to the congress. This is a dilemma. What do you think I should do?

I hope everyone can accomplish all your goals.

    See you.

    1. Hello. This is Cristiano and Ticiana.

Cristiano: I believe it's very important for your career to paericpate in the Congress. You can travel with your parents next year. What do you think?

Ticiana: I think the best i to travel with your parents because you can study in another opportunity. Your parents are more valuablen and you are very young and can study later. What do you think?

  10. Hello guys. My name is Regiane. I'm a Portuguese teacher. This year I decided to stop teaching and to fulfill a dream to advertise my blog to other people. Therefore, I'm reading more, thinking about other possibilities in order to enhance the blog (veredasdotexto.com).

I agree with Matt because everyone needs a challenge in their life, which proposes another meaning to it. Moreover, it makes you believe in yourself.

This year my challenge is to read all authorship by Valter Hugo Mãe, to run everyday and to take a library to a community as a social project. Besides that, to study English more intensively, preparing myself to my class.

I would like to take this chance to say to Tatiana she should travel with her parents to Europe because it's necessary to enjoy her life with her loving family, and give herself this very chance. However, she can participate in congresses another time as she is very young.

I wish everyone success in your challenges.

    Kisses and see you.

    Regiane
